Plan to spend about $5–$15 per person at most bakery stops. Paschal’s is a full-service restaurant, so that stop may cost slightly more depending on how you order. Sharing is strongly encouraged—six stops can add up quickly, and the goal is to taste Atlanta rather than finish a full dessert at every stop.

This tour moves through several Atlanta neighborhoods, including Downtown, Sweet Auburn, Grant Park, Castleberry Hill, and the Upper Westside. Driving or rideshare is the most practical way to complete the full route. Downtown and Sweet Auburn may require garage or paid street parking, while availability varies in the neighborhood stops. Henri’s and CamiCakes are close enough that the final two stops should be treated as one Upper Westside cluster.

Visitors who need specific accommodations should confirm entrances, restrooms, seating, and parking directly with each business before beginning. Downtown Atlanta and some historic neighborhoods also include busy intersections, changing sidewalk conditions, and parking environments that may require additional planning.

Start on time. Flaky Not Flaky is the biggest scheduling constraint because its public shop operates on weekdays and closes early in the afternoon.
Share the sweets. This tour moves from Sconuts and cheesecake to laminated pastry, cobbler, petit fours, and cupcakes. Splitting items makes the six-stop experience much more comfortable.
At Flaky Not Flaky, start with the Original Vanilla Bean Sconut for the clearest introduction to the pastry that launched the bakery.
At Sweet Auburn Bread Company, order the Sweet Potato Cheesecake. It combines a familiar Southern ingredient with the bakery’s signature approach and connects directly to the Black baking traditions at the heart of its story.
At Little Tart, let the pastry case help decide. The Cardamom Morning Bun is an excellent signature bite, but rotating seasonal pastries are part of the experience.
Paschal’s is different from every other stop. It is a full-service soul-food restaurant rather than a bakery. The tour goes specifically for the Peach Cobbler and the story of a restaurant whose tables became part of Atlanta’s Civil Rights history.
At Henri’s, choose something old-school. A Petit Four gives you the clearest sense of the bakery’s nearly century-long tradition, while its shortbread is another strong choice.
Finish at CamiCakes with Red Velvet. It provides a fitting final chapter in the tour: a familiar Southern flavor transformed into a modern Black-owned dessert business.
