What Customers Say About Astoria Pastry Shop

“This pastry shop is absolutely beautiful! The amount of pastries available and the variety of tasty ice cream flavors available are amazing! We got a mini carrot cake, apple turnover, key lime cheesecake, and a delicious chocolate chunk cookie. I also was able to taste the banana pudding ice cream... it was so tasty! Thank you to the young woman who helped us with our order, she was delightful.” — Angela White, 5/5 stars
“First of all, we've never been to this place before ever. We never even knew it existed. This place is probably the best setup and welcoming pastry shop I've ever been to! They have everything from pies to full size cakes to designer decorative cakes to every type of cheesecake/indian/Arabic pastry you can think of. I mean they have everything and the interior design of the place is immaculate!…” — Laura, 5/5 stars
“This place offers so many mouth watering options! The staff was patient and nice while we were looking at all the options and answered any questions we had. We ordered the French macaroons (strawberry and Nutella), chocolate cannoli, Baklava, and an eclair. Everything was incredible!” — Amber Johnson, 5/5 stars
“It's a bummer that there's so much construction in downtown Detroit. The Astoria Pastry Shop is on a ripped up road with small sidewalks in Greektown. It'll be nice when its done but made it hard to get around. The pasty shop itself was excellent. We got white chocolate with cherry cake, almond fingers, chocolate chip cookie, cinnamon roll, and a lemon bar. I could have tried one of everything…” — Brandon Eddy, 5/5 stars
“Not super impressed. Everything tasted days old and super dry. The frosting was the only thing fresh. The baklava was soggy and there was minimal crunch. The staff was very kind and helpful.” — Arianna Bowman, 3/5 stars
